Andover’s Lib Dem town council candidates will be in the High Street today to introduce themselves and their program to you.

The full list of candidates is as follows

ALAMEIN: Barbara Carpenter, Kevin Hughes and Andrew Whiteley

HARROWAY: Linda Gates, Kate Nigthingale, Alan Sweetman and Peter Wilson

MILWAY: Rod Bailey, Liz Byrne, Dave Campbell and Judy Sweetman

ST MARY’S: Katherine Bird, Peter Mather, Mike McGarry and Vince McGarry

WINTON: Janet Evans, Tony Evans, Phil Joyce and Barbara Long

All of these candidates are standing as Liberal Democrats because only the Lib Dems and a Lib Dem town council can really represent the people of Andover. They plan to do this by

• Speaking up for Andover on planning matters
• Building a future for Andover
• Providing cost effective services
• Combatting vandalism and antisocial behaviour
• Improving leisure provision
